The Tuc Tuc Ride
Bangkok, Thailand
"Canal house" in Bangkok.
Bangkok shows a different face from the small canals. The water is full of with snake head fish, as the locals and the monks feed them with leftovers.
If you go to Bangkok and have a chance to take a longboat tour, don't miss out. Just be careful with the prices.
A happy thai woman, taking us around in Bangkok.
Enormous amount of snake head fish in the canals of Bangkok.
Longboats can be extremely fast - some of them have two huge engines at the back. When passing each other, the thai drivers wave at each other, while the tourists are only staring rather happily.
Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) from the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok. The beautiful pagoda in the sunset was breathtaking.
Bangkok is always busy and exciting, but only after three days we got dizzy. We were happy to start our island hopping!
A junction I would never dare crossing with a motorbike. Especially not when carrying two more people behind me. Having more than two people on a bike is very normal in Bangkok. They also have taxi-motorbikes, you just hop on the back and they take you anywhere.
